STONE GARDEN

Art City Stone Garden and sculpture park, just steps from the Ventura Bike Trail and half a mile from the Pacific Ocean, is a display of boulder collections for sale. The park began as a presentation/installation of a collection of monumental granite boulders. Two of these are “Dos Metates,” headed for Mission Lawn, between China Alley and the Museum of Ventura County. The lead piece is of imperial blue granite obtained from San Marcos, Texas. The other, slightly smaller stone, is a beautiful example of academy black granite from north of Fresno, California.
